Animated images export their first frame as a still image. Output keeps the original format but is re-encoded; metadata and animation are not preserved.
How to rotate or flip an image
- Select your picture.
- Rotate clockwise in 90-degree steps or flip the current preview vertically or horizontally. Reset restores the original orientation.
- Click Download to save your image with -rotated added to its filename.
Each flip acts on the image as you currently see it. A quarter turn swaps the width and height without cropping. JPEG, WebP and HEIC are re-encoded with compression; GIF uses up to 256 colors.
