Solana Address Validator
Check the format of a Solana public address before using it in a test or workflow. Paste the address and click Validate to see the result.
Validate a public address
What is checked?
Checks that the Base58 address decodes to exactly 32 bytes. Both on-curve public keys and off-curve program-derived addresses are valid address formats. Solana addresses do not include a checksum, so not every typo can be detected.
Validation runs locally using the open-source scure-base and noble-hashes libraries. A valid format does not confirm ownership, account activity, balance, or the intended recipient.
Does a valid result prove who owns the address?
No. Format validation does not identify the owner, check the balance, or confirm that an address is the intended destination. Compare the entire address and network with the information supplied by the recipient.
