Random Bitcoin address generator

Generate a random Bitcoin private key and its matching public address in your browser. Copy the values individually for development and testing.

Generate a key pair

Keep your private key secret: anyone with it can control the address. Generating again replaces the displayed pair.

Keys are generated locally using secure browser randomness. This tool does not send or save them. Copying places the selected value on your clipboard.

Key and address formats

The private key uses Wallet Import Format (WIF) for a compressed public key. The public address is a Bitcoin mainnet legacy P2PKH address beginning with 1.

Generating an address does not fund it or submit a transaction.

Use generated addresses in development workflows

A sample Bitcoin key pair can help you test address fields and wallet-related interfaces. A private key controls its matching account, so never paste a real funded wallet’s private key into a test fixture or public example.
